Welcome to the Irish Reels Film Festival 2010. The festival will take place March 12th -14th in Seattle. Screenings will take place at the Seattle Art Museum and at the Seattle Center. Now in our twelfth year we are delighted to bring to you a wonderful collection of refreshing and exciting new works in Irish cinema. Irish Reels, a forum for features, shorts, and documentaries by independent Irish filmmakers, kicks off on Friday night, March 12th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Seattle Art Museum with a screening of Saving Our Heritage: The Irish Georgian Society followed with a lecture by Hon. Desmond Guinness. The festival continues through Saturday and Sunday. A selection of documentaries and shorts will be presented at the Seattle Center as part of Irish Week celebrations and feature presentations will be screenned each evening at the Seattle Art Museum.
